Here are some good resources if you’re a self-published author or a fellow independent bookstore.

BookShop.org is a new way for independent bookstores to sell online and reach new audiences. It’s a new site that’s still feeling things out, and probably working through some growing pains, but it certainly looks promising. Definitely something to keep an eye on.

Authors can submit their book to indieBRAG (for a fee) and if it passes the preliminary assessment, it goes out to their genre readers to be evaluated for a B.R.A.G. Medallion and featured on their website. A book can only be submitted for review by the author.
